LIVE FIRE FROM THE HOLSTER IS NOW REQUIRED
Minimum of 2 mags required & your own holster
Active as of 9/17/2023 from NJ State police
IMPORTANT NOTE
The CCARE requalification the state has mandated MUST be taken with a holster. If you are not prepared to use your holster (inside/outside at the hip or appendix), DO NOT make an appointment because there are NO REFUNDS. You must be able to show the instructor that you can holster and re-holster your gun 7 times in a row successfully in a classroom setting in order to take the live fire portion. If you cannot do this, you are not prepared.

NJ State ammo Regulation
According to Assembly Bill 1302 All Handgun ammunition sales must now be registered through the NJ FARS at a state charged fee of $1.50 per transaction.
This took effect on 2/16/2023 We do not know how this will effect anyone without an NJ FID (SBI) Number
So I purchase my first pistol there, I’m a avid gun owner, I’ve been around guns hunting and going to gun ranges all of my life (I’m 72yrs old today) at Bob’s sport shop I was waited on right away, very courteous and They went out of their way to listen to me first before the process began on purchasing a pistol. Everything went smooth and I had a good one one conversation. These guys were fantastic.

Hey ladies, if you want a great experience, go see Brian! He was absolutely amazing and so patient with me throughout the entire process. Hands down the best gun purchase experience I’ve ever had.

Very nice Shop and range! I went for my Conceal and carry qualification course with Steven who was a really good instructor. He helped me with everything I needed and I got an awesome Holster for my gun! Loved this place!
